THE COMTES DE CHAMPAGNE RESIDENCE

The counts’ palace

This beautiful 13th-century building close to Reims cathedral reflects the wealth of the Counts of Champagne, who used it as their residence during the coronations. They welcomed nobles, artists and wealthy merchants from all over Europe. According to medieval historian Patrick Demouy, it is ‘one of the most beautiful and prestigious residences in Reims’.

Listed as a historic monument, it has retained its role as a venue for exclusive receptions. Bombarded during World War I, it was saved then restored by Maison Taittinger with the support of the Ministry of Fine Arts. The original home of the Comtes de Champagne cuvée, it still appears on every bottle today.

Capacity: Seating for 40 to 150 people
Space: One ground-floor room (144 m²) and one upstairs room (217 m²)

THE FRANÇOIS TAITTINGER PAVILION

In the vineyards of Reims

Authentic and renovated, this former wine press house charms visitors with its ideal location: in the heart of Maison Taittinger’s vineyards and close to the Reims TGV train stations. Formerly used to press grapes as close as possible to the vineyards, it preserved their freshness by limiting transport.

Today, it has been reinvented to create a warm, intimate setting, suitable for professional events from seminars to press launches. A bucolic break for your guests.

Capacity: 2 to 24 people

THE HISTORIC SITE OF SAINT-NICAISE

The remains of our history

Immerse yourself in Maison Taittinger’s history and savoir-faire with a unique tour, 18 metres below ground, of Gothic galleries and crypts. These Gallo-Roman crayères, called ‘underground cathedrals’, were used as refuges for the first Christians and also sheltered soldiers during World War I, who left graffiti behind.

Today they offer ideal conditions for aging our most prestigious vintages. The Comtes de Champagne cuvée is left there to mature for nearly ten years. This exceptional site, listed by UNESCO as part of the Champagne Hillsides, Houses and Cellars since 2015, offers an exclusive experience accompanied by tailored tastings.
